Challenge: Increase the number of tourists who will re-visit the destination.

Strategy: Increase awareness of the destination’s “beach offer” for sun- and sea holidays in relevant target groups, the resort used to be best known for culture.

Implementation: In three countries: Producing press material each month with news, trends and products from the destination with focus on inspiring beach pictures. Writing newsletters quarterly for the industry and managing social media. 

Result: The activities generated an increase in the number of publications by 50 % to 600 in a year, an increase in the number of publications about sun and sea at the destination from 46 % to 75 %. The number of Scandinavian tourist increased by 26 % during the same period of time.
